Haverstock is proposing to build new studio space on the existing roof of 7-10 Cliff Road Studios.
The new studio will provide vital meeting for the architects and their teams. The new building will be of modular construction, which will be fabricated almost entirely off site so as to reduce the disruption of building works to all the neighbours. The new building will be an open plan space with large glazed elements to allow for ample natural daylight. The new studio will have a minimal impact on the elevation form all sides due to the fact it is small in size, relatively low in height and appropriately set back from the existing roof parapet. The proposal also includes a green roof to the new meeting room and the addition of solar panels shading the existing glass roof above the staircase. These improvements will help to improve Cliff Road Studios green credentials.
