Our team led by AHMM has won the design competition to create a new central London HQ for the Metropolitan Police Service. A new public realm and a glazed Entrance Pavilion combine to create a welcoming and open face for the organisation, while the refurbished and extended Curtis Green Building behind houses a 21st century working environment to suit changing needs. Throughout, outdoor spaces – including a range of terraces and an illuminated Rooftop Pavilion – provide for a range of uses and make the most of views across the River Thames to London County Hall, Westminster Bridge and the London Eye.
