Brackley Town Hall Wins 2019 RIBA East Midlands Award
We’re thrilled to announce that Brackley Town Hall has won a 2019 RIBA East Midlands Award.
The restoration and adaptation of the Grade II* listed was a HLF funded scheme to address the physical issues and improve the long-term financial sustainability of the Town Hall. Our brief was to carry out a comprehensive repair & adaptation of the Town Hall in order to address the range of physical issues and improve its long-term financial sustainability. The Town Hall has had a long-established relationship with a large number of civic and local community users, who regularly hire space for meetings, activities and functions. Our work included the introduction of new community spaces, a ground floor commercial unit (bistro / café) and an attic holiday let to provide an income for the maintenance and care of the building.
