Hope Community School receives Planning Permission
Hope Community School new building and extension have received planning permission from the London Borough of Bexley. The school is the first free school in Sidcup, set up by the New Generation Trust and funded by the Department for Education as part of the Free Schools Initiative. The new build extension will provide a 1FE primary school for the residents of Foots Cray. The educational vision for the school is to work closely with the local community, including parents, local residents and businesses to develop a strong sense of community and values. The school will have capacity for 210 children aged 4-11. The new building will be an exciting addition to the existing locally list school building and hopefully continue to be a key provider of education in the area for many years into the future.
