Public consultation at Wisbech High Street Project
11 August 2015
Last week we carried out an informal public consultation at Wisbech’s Market Place. The aim of the consultation was to show our proposals to the community and gather their feedback specifically about the future of the Cook’s Butchers (the no. 24 site). We had very positive feedback from the public who expressed their preferences among four different categories of proposals.
The Wisbech High Street Project comprises the restoration and enhancement of eight shop fronts and the re-use of the derelict site of the collapsed no. 24 property. We are working for our client Fenland District Council and with a fantastic design team. For full details of our team read our news about the project from July: New Public Realm for Wisbech
