Wisbech project submitted to HLF
12 February 2016
The Wisbech High Street Townscape Heritage Project has been submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund. The project seeks to restore and enhance up to eight heritage properties on the town’s high street including shop-fronts, retail and residential units. In addition, the project involves creating an engaging and inspiring new area of public realm in the derelict site of the collapsed no.24 property, affectionately christened ‘The Gap’. We have enjoyed consulting with the Wisbechians, Fenland District Council and the fantastic design team while developing the bid documentation. Fingers crossed the Heritage Lottery Fund grant will be secured. Full details of the project can be found here.
