Our consultant and former partner John Jenkins has worked with the Commission for Architecture and the Build Environment (CABE) for many years.
He has worked with Local Authorities in an Enabling role to develop a better understanding of the importance of Design Quality in school buildings. He is also one of the chairs of the School Design Panel which reviews schools in the Building Schools for the Future programme. This work now includes the implementation of Minimum Design Standards. John has also contributed to CABE publications and regularly lectures and runs workshops on CABE issues. The practice has submitted 7 projects for CABE reviews, all of which has scored well and received favourable reports.
