The practice has undertaken many projects related to control rooms in recent years.
These have included: London Underground, Network Rail & Silverlink Station control rooms; Information points for LUL & Silverlink; area control facilities for police forces, train crew control facilities for LUL and other associated accommodation. Part of the success of our approach has been user engagement in the design process. We prepare full size mockups of control desks as part of the consultation strategy and user ownership of economic and operational suitability of the solutions.
