As part of the commission the team were required to:
1. Undertake baseline research on significance, history of the site, use analysis and wider context analysis.
2. Produce a design feasibility study considering a range of options for The Hall Estate. This included leading design workshops with the working committee and stakeholders to develop initial options likely to include enabling greater access to The Hall, enabling public access to and around the grounds, the development of facilities either in converted buildings or a new build space to house education activities and interpretation material. Develop a preferred option and test the preferred
option with stakeholders.
3. Provide high level cost information for the preferred option.
4. Undertake consultation and engagement with statutory and non-statutory agencies, existing audiences and potential audiences working in collaboration with the feasibility consultant.
We worked with Rena Pitsilli-Graham, accredited conservation architect, and Ingham Pinnock Associates, economic development and regeneration consultants.
