We are extremely proud as Guildford Crematorium has received a 2022 Civic Trust Award.

Judges’ Comments: “The buildings provide a beautiful architectural backdrop to the celebration of life.”

The new-build crematorium provides a chapel for 135 people seated and 50 standing space with floral tribute to replace the existing building which was at the end of its natural life. The project involved creating a suitable replacement which responds to modern funeral, memorial and mechanical practices.
