Haverstock

The new-build Guildford Crematorium provides a chapel for 135 people seated and 50 standing space with floral tribute to replace the existing building which was at the end of its natural life. 

The concept for both building and landscape was influenced by the range of visitors to the existing crematorium and the stages of grief which they experience as they move through and use the site. The redesign now creates a peaceful place for people to remember their loved ones.
