Designing Inclusive Places For Education

Take a look at the NLA’s webinar ‘Designing Inclusive Spaces for Education’, which includes a presentation from our partner Claire on Kentish Town Primary School. Kentish Town Primary School acts as an example of a fully-inclusive school, integrating adaptations for children with autism and physical impairments into a mainstream setting. This model of inclusive education design enables students to be educated alongside their peers, prioritising accessibility for all children within educational spaces.

To hear more about our approach to inclusive design in education, watch the webinar below!

A key part of the movement towards more inclusive design is taking place in schools and universities, where we see buildings and spaces designed with the individual wellbeing of all children and young people in mind.

In this webinar we heard from the people behind some of the best practice examples of inclusive design, who explored the ways that this type of design helps to nurture the potential for our next generation, as well as enhance their experience of learning.’’
